ENTROPIC FRONT - Intervals EP album for 2025
A summary of commentary via the Intervals extended play album, which I composed fully by digital drawing and programming.
My Introduction to the EP album
kettet per minute, of 129.5 bpm I selected for medium intensities and returns-to-center for all three lead software synthesizer instruments. Instruments were selected for solid song repeats, steady coherence of mood, in each case more desired than hit potential.
For canvasing greater possible note layouts possible in nature, a wide array of somewhat spurious quick-drawn measures was performed, from which to select and improve, harnessing the haphazard by molding oddities.
The EP album’s 1st song (Intervals) became decidedly staccato. This first song’s tonality became the most exclusively of ‘one and only one style’ - that staccato - and very much qualifying as only that, and very much non-marcato, non-scherzo, and non-giocoso.
The 2nd song (Endurance) became decidedly marcato.
The 3rd song (Lilt) became decidedly giocoso alternating with marcato.
The 4th song (Incongruencies) became decidedly scherzo.
