Analog Equipment to Blend with Digital Modeling
For many months to a year or two future of now, I plan to continue perusing Korg brand analog synthesizers, for potential eventual blending digital/analog together

For many months now I’ve been browsing to various websites, viewing videos, and listening to demo tracks on some of Korg brand’s synthesizer equipment.
I’m very pleased with performing most all of my music programming, composition, and production via VST instrumentation from Native Instruments brand and Traction brand. VST instruments and effects can be selected to warm tone the otherwise sometimes colder and crisper digital ‘physical modelling’ synthesis performed by the computer hardware. This has improved with Intel and AMD technology, as well as some wonderful engineering work done in South Korea and elsewhere on channelboard technology and other componentry.

Composing via the other method of more traditionally engineered analog equipment has its limits also. Such compositions, if 100% via such machines, tend to become ‘pad’ style even for lead synthesizers, with the analog warmth starting to ooze somewhat.

My goal in 2026 to 2028 is to await to purchase a mainstay synthesizer worth my time and effort in integrating Digital Audio Workstation, VST software instruments, and control real-time or import of performance pre-time of analog equipment, to blend the crisp effect with a warmer glow, and none too much of either.
